Perhaps some folks who are videophiles could shed more light on optimal settings or can explain how gamma works, and hopefully folks with different video cards chime inĪnnnnd finally. It seems to push light into the dark areas without making the bright areas super bright. I'm not a graphics guy, but it really seems to work differently than a simple brightness control. The real trick was using the Gamma adjustments for my video card for this game. If it doesnt show up in a Start menu search: Easy solution. Works well for me - hope it helps someone else.
